Step Aerobics With My Extreme Stepaholics
The end product of a step class with my extreme steppers. All routines have breakdowns. This class is more like a holiday than a class as they like everything fast, tricky, dancey and the music has to be kickin (always Garage)
I would love to join a step aerobics class, can’t find any where I live.
this video is great it takes puure skill to do this
This music is called ‘Garage’ music, it was and still is very popular in the UK (not sure how the rest of the world survived without it). The CD used was put together by someone else, but I know the 1st song is Misteeq – One Night Stand.
I only use the Pure Garage series of CD’s (about 10 in the series), all continuous play but not necessarily 32 count so you have to work with it. The best one I have to date is Pure Garage Rewind Back To The Old Skool (4CD) and it is fantastic both songs on it
Hey Awsome Step Class! For Some Odd Reason I Dont Know The Songs In The BackRound… Yet I Feel The Need To Know The Names Of Them… They Seem Like They Pump You Up Very Well And I Would Like To Add Them Into My Playlist, So I May Use Them At My Gym… Please Let Me Know As Soon As Possible. PleasE!!! ThankS! Awsome Moves You Got There As Well! Keep It Up!!! THE WORLD NEEDS AS MANY TRAINERS/INSTRUCTORS AS IT CAN GET!
I just have to say that your stuff is amazingingly fun! I’ve been an instructor for 10 years and I just found all of this on YouTube and it has been fun adding in some small pieces into my own choreography=) I teach to a very “general population” so I have to be careful what I do, but they love new stuff! Thanks much:)
Not sure where the spinning come from as there is only 1 reverse turn. Here in the UK we have many different types of stepping which makes it interesting, keeps it fresh and every instructor brings its own uniqueness. This isn’t for everyone, but if they like that kind of thing, then I am happy to do it. If they don’t then I will think of other inventive things to do instead.
OMG NO! What is with all the spinning in all of these videos? I get sick just seeing them, let alone thinking of or actually doing them. I just don’t get it. But, I’m glad it works for some.
where do you teach at?
i wish my step aerobics teacher in school did that… we use 3 steps and its so tiring >>; the way you do it makes it seem less tiring.
it’s ok, but simple
what tempo are you using?
Yeah, back in the day started going to FAB weekenders about 12 years ago when Fitz’s stuff was so out of this world and so different to anything going on at the time. I wasn’t an instructor then. I go to 3ness now as they have some wicked presenters dancy, quality steppin.
Less of the boring technical comments eh? Can I just ask – are you a child of Fitzroy Gaynes? Your music is very him!
sorry, but I can’t seem to find the breakdowns. Your moves are fun, thanks for putting your videos on!
In fact only South American presenters do it and… Polish instructors and presenters originating from Inka Szymanski Fitness School
Everything’s fine, Stepaholic, one technical but… Your ankles and calves will thank you if you start putting your heels on the floor stepping down. Now you’re just overworking your joints. Unfortunately not many instructors know about it yet.
Bare with me, they are coming. Check out the ones that I put on recently, which have the breakdowns and I will be putting some more on.
I would love to see the breakdown for the combo that starts with the mambo off the end into a pivot. The toe taps in the turn backward look amazing! Do you have the breakdown?
You move FLAWLESSLY and so GRACEFULLY….very light on your feet. Love your style.
I REALLY like this one Stepaholic ! Pstep
I’ve just discovered your videos on you tube. you have some amazing choreography. I’ve already “stolen” a few moves. Post more. YOU’RE INCREDIBLE – I’m sure your students think so too!
